Message on behalf of the President of the Assembly, Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual meetings are the only possible option for the foreseeable future. Assembly subsidiary bodies should consider the best way forward for each one, bearing in mind their specific needs and timelines. The Secretariat of the Assembly will assist with virtual meeting options and to coordinate the technical support which may be available by the Registry of the Court.

Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute

The Assembly of States Parties is the management oversight and legislative body of the International Criminal Court, and is composed of representatives of the States which have ratified or acceded to the Rome Statue.
